"The worst ventriloquism"

Films: The Puppet Masters (1994)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of toy dogs.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Nope, you cannot get our interests up for another movie about aliens taking over bodies and blending in with them. Oh wait, the aliens are weird, stingray-looking things? Okay then...

History: After a flying saucer lands in Iowa, little bastards from space pop up and start latching onto the masses. By doing this, they turn the humans into emotionless, violent playthings. And it seems that there is no end in sight to the mass takeover taking place.

Notable Kills: Nothing special

Final Fate: After the alien's weakness is revealed, a vaccine is developed to wipe out the alien scourge. Though the last one has to be taken out by a helicopter propeller.

Powers/Abilities: Can take over the brain of anyone they latch onto.

Weakness: Brain diseases, such as encephalitis.

Scariness Factor: 4-Don't be fooled by their weird yet somewhat cute appearance. These things love to make you do unspeakable evils designed to make everyone around you, even yourself, suffer. And don't even try to remove them. They latch on and they're never coming off.

Trivia: -Robert Heinlein's original story actually already got an adaptation. It was in the form of "The Brain Eaters" from the 50s.

-The folks at Disney kept making edits to the script, which was originally much more faithful to the book. It didn't pan out well.

Not even the main characters. Sorta.
You'd think he was in on it for the longest time.
"My water cooler! MINE!"
